My airplane is made from this company/ delivery:

Other non aero company that have find usefully to get stuff I need.. :-)

Note.. remember.. car parts shop sometimes not suited items for aircraft use, so be selective and avoid go the all cheap road when came to parts influence security and reliability.

I straightly use the Teflon aircraft grade wires and use the aviation quality items in any critical system for sure.
But when came to let say tools.. , you get better sheet metal tools at "Biltema", then from most American company, as they seams not able to know how to make a simple "pelican" cutter.. hahah

and this is the brands that I have chosen to be the base in my RV-7A experimental aircraft:

  • RV-7A Quick build airplane.
Sheet metal airplane, side by side configuration, close to 200 miles speed, prepunched parts. Arobatic capable

  • Engine; Eggenfellner Subaru firewall forward. An nall ready to bolt on firewal lforward solution , that is built on the Subary well proven and strong H6 engine. In aircraft configure, it gives 200Hp.

  • IVO
IVO-Prop is the low budget adjustable pitch propeller. I have choose the Ivo Magnum , because it is a good product on geared engines.
Also can be simulate CS prop whit a low cost controller for adjust the pitch as rpm is set.
is cost 25% of the "real" CS prop..and only half time more than fixed pitch, so is what have choosen to hold budget down.

  • Dynon avionics, EFIS  and engine monitor. and also integrate whit GPS , built in autopilot, all solid state gyro etc. My choice is the all in one Dynon Flightdeck D-180.
I will add the extra add on panel for autopilot and the extra panel for more inputs and analog knob control.
It makes a very good and cheap all glass cockpit, in a small form factor, still whit grate display.

  • EXP BUS The complete KIT plane electrical system on a single board. Also I have the optinal indicator modul to show fuse failures and amp/voltage at all time.

  • XCOM
I chose the Xcom-760 small 2 1/4 inch format 450 gram, weight radio. It is greate value, and have inpiut for program from PC, so more easy to manage preset memorie and so on. Also it has fully VOX intercom integrated in this small package, make me save panel space, wiring, and make a more simple config.
Downside, is only com.. non NAV... but anyway..I am covered whit GPS any way.

  • Microair -  transponder.
Chose mostly because is same formfactor as COM. Only IO find now is that I would need an mode S instead of only mode C in the coming future. make it maybe a short lived item , and close to be a mistake..
The good side is.. the S mode still very expensive, so if can wait 3 or 4 year to change.. I still maybe save some. When mode S comes down in price.

  • Odyssey batteri -  High power, small format battery for extreme use. As I am use a engine that need constant flow of electrons, I have 2 batteries, whit separate busses and fuses. Odyssy batteryes is some of the best then in give high start amp in so a smal batteri. I have the Odysses 680, that gives.. 680 Amp start pover, and that from a battery that is only 15 amp/h capasity. I then have 2 stk,  and my system is made so can start from both, or one of them.

  • GPS - moving map.
    Self made from OEM products,,
Embedded PC whit solid state disk. AMD GEO 500MHz, 1 GB DDR RAM, connected to XCOM, Dynon, PDA secondary GPS system, as well as external USB for update maps and, and last communicate whit PDA phone to update weather info and even recive e-maisl on the fly ;-)
10,4 industry quality TFT high brightness touch screen, build directly in to back side of instrument panel.
USB GPS. (non Bluetooth thanks, as I so often see Bluetooth connection problem give config error when is less need for so..:-)
PC will have the Mountain scoop software as primary map soilution, as it can be integrate to my Dynon EFIS , and also make use of the solid state gyro in the Dynon instrument.

  • Ray-Allan company - stick grip whit knobs for PTT, flaps, trim etc. , and electric flap sensors/servos etc.
Good products, looks ok, working well. Light weight.

  • Classic aero design (not yet placed the order, but seats would be minimum I will get there.)
Great solution for non VAN's seat solution, also make complete interior as well, but sure also for a price :-)
I believe will have the seat only, as I like the solution they make on seat very well.
